What is MLM?

MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing, also known as Network Marketing or Direct Sales.

MLM is a movement of people from different backgrounds and ages that decided to take their life’s and future in their hands, decided to stop depending on what an employer could, or want, to give as a salary, or relaying on the unreliable government. Network Marketing is a profession for anyone ready to work for financial freedom.

It is often misunderstood and compared to pyramids. Please, it is NOT a pyramid, if someone invites you to a pyramid then it is NOT Network Marketing, PERIOD.

How does it work?

Let’s say you go to a restaurant and the food is just excellent, the service amazing and the place so comfortable and beautiful! You come back home, your neighbour is sitting in the porch and you say, you know, I just went to this restaurant and I just loved it! Everything is excellent there, you have to go! After that you talk to your mom, your daughter, your brother, your co-workers and you keep telling people because you want the people you love to experience nice things as you just did!

Now, let’s say you spoke to 20 people about the restaurant, from those 20 just 10 decide to go and try it, they totally love it too so they start telling their own families and friends, question: would that restaurant give you, or the people that your people told, any commission for recommending their restaurant and getting them more clients? Of course not! In Network Marketing it does! You try the product (always has to be an excellent product in order to work), you love it and recommend it, you are going to get a commission just for using and recommending the product!

In addition…

Now that you tried and recommended the product, you can make passive income and residual income. You build it once and it can be forever. The system has a way to know who are the people you recommended the products to so, every time they buy the products you would receive the commission, and they would receive a commission for the people they invited.

Now…

As in any business, and any product, in MLM you can find better (or not so better, lol) companies; make sure they have this two characteristics:

Type and quality of products:

• Must be high quality products.
• Must be ongoing use products.

Compensation plan:

• Must reward the right behaviour.
